Viola Davis accessorized her custom Jason Wu royal blue gown with a silver purse and stunning Chopard jewellery. The L’Oréal Paris spokeswoman played up the dress by keeping her makeup monochrome and using blue eyeliner.
According to a press release from the makeup artist Sergio López-Rivera, “Viola is wearing a royal blue gown and her hair is done in a large Afro, so I wanted to keep her makeup dazzling but clean and simple.”

López-Rivera created her stunning eye with L’Oréal Paris Infallible Grip Eyeliner in “Intense Black” and “Turquoise.” He used L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick in the colour “Le Wood Nonchalant” to complete the look.
Davis’ longtime stylist and friend Elizabeth Stewart posted behind-the-scenes pictures of them getting ready, praising López-Rivera and hairstylist Jamika Wilson for their “amazing hair and makeup.”
Davis, 57, is a Golden Globes veteran. For her roles in films like The Help and TV episodes like How to Get Away With Murder, the actress has received a few nominations. For her work in Fences, she was awarded a prize in 2017 for best supporting actress.
Davis, however, is getting her due this award season for her efforts in The Woman King with the nomination for best actress in a drama picture. She underwent extensive training for the role of a warrior on a mission who engages in fistfights. Davis underwent a nine-month personal training regimen to change her figure.
