Kannada Bigg Boss participant Chaitra Kotturu attempts suicide

Kannada Bigg Boss 7 contestant Chaitra Kotturu attempted suicide after her wedding broke with businessman Nagarjuna.

According to Indian media, Chaitra consumed phenyl at her residence in Kolar, Karnataka. She was instantly rushed to the hospital where her condition got stable on Thursday.

Her marriage was called off after the latter’s family refused to accept their ties.

Chaitra and Nagarjuna tied the knot last month in a private ceremony, however, the groom’s relatives did not attend the wedding.

As per the Indian police, Chaitra and Nagarjuna were in a relationship for the past several years.

Police have started an investigation.
