Katy Perry Dresses as Ginger Root

• Another outrageous outfit has been added to Katy Perry’s extensive collection of odd looks.
• The 38-year-old American Idol judge enjoyed posing in a full-body ginger root costume
•  she uploaded to Instagram on Thursday from Los Angeles’ Erewhon Market.

Katy Perry pictures were captioned in jest by : “Picture of health.”

She put on the costume that looked delicious and even had stubs to give it a more genuine appearance. She completed her light-brown costume with a stem headdress that featured a cutout for her face.

In addition, Perry posted a picture of her source of inspiration, a bottle of Bragg organic ginger turmeric prebiotic shot.

The Grammy Award candidate has a reputation for wearing outrageous outfits, both on and offstage, over the years. Most importantly, she has shown that a burger costume can be worn for both a Met Gala appearance and to patch things up with Taylor Swift, an ex-frenemy.

She was seen leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in a costume resembling a gigantic faeces in February, which reminded people of a prop she used in her “California Gurls” show, which was staged in her Las Vegas residency Play.

To commemorate the inaugural remote performance of American Idol, Perry jokingly dressed up as an American Idol hand sanitizer bottle during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While doing the dishes, Perry shared a sneak peek at the costume on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “Reminding you to remain safe, wash your hands, and tune into an all-new episode of American Idol tonight.”

The other Met Gala ensemble worn by the Smile artist featured a silver mini dress covered in Swarovski crystals that resembled a chandelier and a matching headpiece in 2019 and a pair of oversized feathered wings the year before for the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” exhibit.

When asked about her Met Gala style, Perry told, “At the Met Gala, especially, I really lean into the theme and have fun with it.”
