Health Canada approves Johnson & Johnson covid vaccine
Canada has approved the Johnson & Johnson Coronavirus vaccine along with AstraZeneca,...
The Government of the United Kingdom (UK) has allowed using the Covid-19 vaccines of AstraZeneca after Denmark suspended the injections to use.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s official spokesman said that,
“We’ve been clear that it’s both safe and effective and when people are asked to come forward and take it, they should do so in confidence,”
And in fact, you’re starting to see the results of the vaccine program in terms of the (lower) number of cases we’re seeing across the country, the number of deaths, number of hospitalizations,” he added.
The UK has made the world’s first coronavirus vaccine in December 2020 with the help of two pharma giants Oxford-Astra Zeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech.
Denmark’s health authorities said they were suspending temporarily the use of AstraZeneca’s vaccine after some patients reported blood clots since getting the injections.
The UK officials noted that Denmark had stressed there was no confirmed link between the vaccine and the blood clots.
