The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has agreed to prolong the visas of citizens of six countries, including Pakistan, till November 10.

The UAE government has extended the validity of residence visas for Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese, Sri Lankan, Nigerian, and Ugandan nationals who are stranded abroad, said Dubai-based airline flydubai.

The visas have been extended until November 10, 2021, said the airline on its website.

“This applies to Dubai-issued UAE resident visas which have expired or will expire between April 20, 2021 and November 9, 2021,” it stated.

UAE residents with Dubai-issued visas who have been outside the UAE for more than six months and left before October 20, 2020, will not have their visas renewed.

Long-term residency for coders

Earlier, the UAE government had announced to begin the Golden Visa application process for coders through the National Programme for Coders.

The programme will see 100,000 coders get the long-term residency

What is a Golden Visa?

The UAE had conditionally renewable long-term visas for five or ten years for certain categories of residents, including investors, entrepreneurs and specialist talents.

The system allowed UAE residents and foreigners to obtain a long-stay residence visa without the need for an Emirati sponsor.

Last November, the cabinet led by Sheikh Mohammed approved major procedural changes for residents to obtain the visa.

Qatar Visa conditions For Pakistanis

  1. Valid passport for at least 06 months
  2. Confirmed return ticket
  3. Polio vaccination certificate
  4. Advertisement
  5. Confirmed hotel reservation in one of the country’s hotels during the visit period.
  6. Fully vaccinated with vaccines approved by the Ministry of Public Health and completing a period of 14 days after the last dose.
  7. Must have a certificate confirming negative PCR test completed during 48 hours from the time of arrival.
