It is reported that hundreds of citizens are stuck in the city, with some taking refuge at the local chemical plant.
According to a UN statement, “access to clean water, food, sanitation, and energy is shrinking” in the city.
As “active hostilities continue to escalate” in eastern Ukraine, the war is “taking a tremendous toll on civilians, especially relief workers,” according to the report.
