MS Dhoni bullying umpire into changing wide call

Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is in a great problematic situation because of bullying umpire Paul Reiffel into changing a wide call during an IPL match.

This incident happened when Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings pacer man Shardul Thakur bowled outside the off stump of team Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Rashid Khan.

Umpire Paul Reiffel who has played 35 Test Matches For Australia after retiring started to appear as an umpire the signal for a wide he does both arms outspread at shoulder height and dhoni started protesting. Commentator Ian Bishop, a former West Indian international, said on media that Reiffel had done a mistake.

“He started calling it a wide, he looked up, saw Dhoni and he changed his mind,” Bishop said.

Hyderabad skipper David Warner also looked visibly unhappy from the dugout of the Dubai cricket stadium in the UAE.

Chennai Super Kings bounce back from their two losses to win by 20 runs and draw and level with Sunrisers Hyderabad on six points in the points table. But MS Dhoni’s action did not go right by the fans on Social Media.

Previous Year MS Dhoni was fined 50 percent of the match fee after he had negative words on the field during a nail-biting game of IPL an umpiring call.
