Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is working to bring limited overs matches to Pakistan this year as both T20 World Cup and Asia Cup is likely to get postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sources said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to invite England for a 3-match T20I series. Pakistan agreed to visit England for the series and the board will use this to convince England to tour Pakistan in return.

T20 World Cup may not happen this year which means that T20 World Cup will be hosted in 2022 by India as Australia and India aiming to get the T20 World Cup postponed to 2021.

It is to be noted that the final decision will be announced by ICC on June 10. It the T20 world cup is delayed then both Australia and India will be asked to come up with an alternate strategy.

Earlier on May 29, The final decision on the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 will be made on June 10.

According to the details, the meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board Meeting related to T20 World Cup 2020 was held through video link.

The majority in the meeting expressed concerns over the governance of the board and the secrecy and sanctity of the board. The meeting also agreed on an independent inquiry headed by the ethics officers of the board.

The final decision regarding T20 World Cup 2020 has been postponed till June 10 in the board meeting while all other issues on the agenda have also been postponed till June 10, 2020.
