World Health Organization warns the world over COVID-19 pandemic

The Director General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has warned the world that 60 percent of corona cases have been reported in the past few weeks, and that the best way out of the epidemic is through a comprehensive strategy.

In a message on the social networking site Twitter, Dr. Tedros said that 60% of Corona cases were reported in June alone, while the highest number of one-day cases in the world was recorded on June 28, 189,500.

DG WHO wrote on Twitter, “60% of all #COVID19 cases so far have been reported just in the past month. We’ll never get tired of saying that the best way out of this pandemic is a comprehensive approach. Not testing alone. Not physical distancing alone. Not contact tracing alone. Not masks alone. Do it all.”

He said the number of cases reported in June was more than half of those reported so far.
