Earlier in July, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made history by launching the Arab world’s first research mission to Mars, known as the Red Planet.

The UAE sent the probe mission into space on an H2A rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC) in Japan at around 5 am on July 20.

The first Mars exploration mission in the Arab world has been dubbed the Al-Amal Mission in Arabic and the Hope Mission in English.

The Hope mission will arrive on Mars after a 200-day journey, staying on the Red Planet for 2 years and conducting important research.

The mission was originally scheduled for July 15, but due to inclement weather, its departure date was changed to July 17.

However, coincidentally, he was not sent on July 17 due to bad weather and it was announced that he would be sent on July 20.

Initially, the weather was bad during the day between July 19 and 20, but later, when the weather improved, the Hope Mission was dispatched in the morning.

With the launch of the Hope Mission to Mars, the UAE became the first country in the Arab world to send a research mission to Mars. At the same time, the UAE became the first country in the Muslim world to go red. Departed a mission to investigate the planet.

The Hope mission will reach Mars after a journey of about 200 days and will spend about 2 years on the Red Planet doing important research.

The Hope mission vehicle will travel at 21,000 kilometres per hour and will travel to Mars to research important evidence, including water, air and gas.

If the Hope mission spacecraft reaches Mars, it will not only be a success for the UAE, but also for the Arab world and the Muslim world. Before the UAE, the United States, Russia, China, India and The European Space Agency has also investigated Mars.

The project is part of a probe into Mars that will analyze unique and new information for the first time, and the mission was built in consultation with NASA.

According to the Emirates Mars Mission, a website created for the Hope Mission, the project will, for the first time, examine the seasons on Mars throughout the year. The research will also be done and it will also be seen why the amount of water on Mars is getting less than in the past.

Local engineers and scientists from the UAE, with the help of American and Japanese experts, developed their own vehicles and equipment for the Hope Mission.

For this mission, Emirati experts, in collaboration with foreign experts, developed a state-of-the-art spacecraft and all the research equipment installed in it in just 6 years.

The vehicle weighs 1,350 kilograms and will be equipped with state-of-the-art cameras and lights that will send material to Earth to monitor the environment on Mars.
