Bollywood stars under drug scanner over a viral video

An Indian politician has demanded a probe into an old video of Bollywood celebrities.

According to the media reports, the video is old starring Bollywood celebrities at a party.

The video featuring Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan among others. The video had gone viral sometime back with people suggesting the Bollywood stars looked under the influence of drugs. The video was reportedly shot at Karan Johar’s residence.

While the matter was buried months ago, now the former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sisra has brought up the case again as he filed a complaint with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He urged the Bureau to investigate the video and all the people who were in attendance at the party.

“I met Sh. Rakesh Asthana, Chief of @narcoticsbureauat BSF headquarter, Delhi regarding submission of complaint about investigation and action against film producer @karanjohar and others for organizing drug party at his residence in Mumbai that party video must be investigated into,” he wrote on Twitter.

However, film producer Karan Johar had earlier issued a clarification about the video.
