KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited England to play three T20 match series in early January 2021, representatives confirmed to BOL News on Thursday.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s CEO Wasim Khan said to BOL News that he has received positive signals from the England and ECB after he sent a letter to them earlier this week inviting England’s team to tour Pakistan in January.
Sources tells that the series will be played in between January 13-20 of the next year.
Wasim Khan also confirmed that a security team of (CSA) Cricket South Africa will also visit Pakistan in November 2020 to see the security arrangements.
However, Wasim Khan claimed that this is not mutual to Pakistan’s summer tour to England in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic this year.
The PCB CEO also added that “the crisis in Cricket South Africa will not trouble the team’s tour to Pakistan and series will go ahead as scheduled”.
While, ECB said that it is committed to doing what it can to help international cricket returning to Pakistan.
