Earlier Shaniera Akram while raising the issue had said that our city is sick, our marine life is suffocating, our people are crying, our children are playing in the garbage and the world has nothing to do with us. She said that garbage is not only present on the beach but everywhere in the city.
There are piles of garbage outside streets, schools, empty houses, offices, in front of houses, and even on our only beach. Looks like we’re swimming in a pile of rubbish.
