New Zealand beats Bangladesh by 27 runs in the last T20

New Zealand won by 27 runs against Bangladesh in their last T20 in Dhaka. New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first and gave the target of 161 runs to the Bangladesh team.

Kiwi’s skipper, Tom Latham was held player of the match as he hit 50 runs in this match.

Bangladesh’s middle-order batting collapsed. Opener Mohammad Naim scored 23 runs.

Atif Hossian remained not out for 49 runs off 33 balls with the help of two boundaries and as many sixes.

Skipper Mahmudullah made 23 runs off 21 balls including a boundary and a six.

Kiwi’s Ajaz Patel and Scott Kuggeleijn got two wickets each while Jacob Duffy, Cole McConchie, Ben Sears, Rachin Ravindra shared a wicket each.

Opener Finn Allen set up Kiwi’s challenging total with a 24-ball 41.

Left-arm quick Shoriful Islam took two wickets and removed Allen and fellow opener Rachin Ravindra (17).

Henry Nicholls added 20 important runs at the end of the inning by hitting two boundaries. McConchie scored 17 runs off 10 balls with three boundaries.

Shoriful Islam took two wickets while Afif, Nasum Ahmed, and Taskin Ahmed took a scalp each.
