Twitter allows iOS users to ‘Super Follow’ from now

The ‘Super Follows’ feature in Twitter was previously available in US and Canada, only. According to the recent announcement of the company, Twitter is now allowing all iOS users to ‘Super Follow’, which is a tool for subscription to accounts in exchange for exclusive content.

The feature was announced to be released in February; however, it became available in September 2021. The feature gives an opportunity to creators who wish to make money by selling their exclusive content to their followers. The creators are allowed to set the rate of subscription upto $9.99 per month.

In order to become eligible for the Super Follows creator, the account holders should be based in US, required to have atleast 10k followers, and 25 tweets in the last month.

Also, note that Super Follows is not the only monetization feature of Twitter. In early 2021, Twitter came up with ‘Tip Jar’. The tool was introduced especially for accounts so as to receive one-time payments form their followers.
