Sajal Aly’s debut at Toronto International Film Festival

Revered When she walked the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 22 film premiere of What’s Love Got to Do with It?, Pakistani actress Sajal Aly made news.

Shekhar Kapur, an Indian filmmaker, is the film’s director. Jemima Khan, née Goldsmith, wrote the screenplay and contributed to its co-production.

Alongside Lily James, Shazad Latif, Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, Emma Thompson, Mim Shaikh, Jeff Mirza, Iman Boujelouah, Mariam Haque, and Sindhu Vee, the Gul e Rana actress starred in the multicultural British rom-com.

Aly looked stylish on the red carpet in an all-black dress. During her interview, the Aangan actress showed enthusiasm and confidence, and it was widely praised by online users. Following the TIFF debut, Aly is currently dominating social media.

The film is slated to release in theatres on January 27, 2023. Jemima Goldsmith, a co-producer of the film, shared the movie’s official trailer on Twitter.
