According to the National Centre of Meteorology’s forecast, today’s weather will start with partly cloudy conditions, gradually becoming cloudy by night and into Saturday morning, particularly in coastal and western regions.
There’s also a chance of rainfall alongside a gradual temperature increase. Red and yellow alerts have been issued in certain areas, primarily due to decreased visibility. Residents have been cautioned about limited visibility until 9 am.
Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to be vigilant due to fog-related reduced visibility, advising them to adhere to changing speed limits on electronic boards. Speed limits have been reduced to 80 km/hr on specific roads in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Humidity is expected to rise by night and Saturday morning in internal areas, accompanied by light to moderate winds.
Sea conditions will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea. Temperature-wise, internal areas of the UAE may experience lows of 13°C and highs of 37°C.
