Bilawal Bhutto addressed the PDM Karachi jalsa today.
He opened the speech by paying tribute to the martyrs of the Karsaz blast incident.
“The names of these martyrs will be written in the history of Pakistan. The sorrow of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the martyrs will always be with us,” said Bilawal.
The PPP chairman went on to say that the Pakistan Democratic Movement is made for the people and democracy will rule once again in the country.
“We have to fight for the rule of the people, the supremacy of the constitution, and the establishment of democracy in this country. The morning for which the democratic forces made sacrifices will come soon,” said Bilawal.
“All democratic powers of Pakistan have to continue this journey. Today we have to talk about the philosophy of democracy. One by one, all the institutions that protect the rights of the people are being opened,” Bilawal added.
Bilawal while criticizing the PTI government and Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the poor are getting poorer.
“In this era, people have seen historical inflation, poverty, and unemployment.”
He highlighted how the PTI government is making fun of other provinces of the country.
“Punjab is being mocked, Sindh’s rights are being robbed. Flood victims from Karachi to Mirpur Khas, Badin are still homeless.”
Bilawal said that Imran Khan has to resign from his post of Prime Minister as he had jeopardized relations with our alliance countries.
“Today, relations with all friendly countries are in jeopardy.”
“This incompetent Prime Minister will have to go. These islands belong to the fishermen here, we will not allow you to occupy these islands.”
PPP Chairman also advised the Assembly’s members that,
“If the ordinance is not withdrawn, I will ask the members of the Assembly to repeal this ordinance in the Senate.”
The Pakistan Democratic Movement PDM Karachi Jalsa is staged at Bagh-e-Jinnah in the metropolis today, to put pressure on the Imran Khan’s government.
The central leadership of PDM has addressed the rally. This includes JUI (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and others.
