Well-known Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil has contracted Coronavirus here on Sunday....
Well-known religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, who had tested negative for Coronavirus, has returned home after recovering with good health.
In his message on Twitter, he extends thankfulness to all his well-wishers and also prayed for patients battling with the deadly COVID-19 disease.

Earlier, The religious scholar said that he had tested negative for the virus and had requested followers to remember him in their prayers. “May Allah let humanity get rid of this pandemic with His blessings,” he prayed.

Tariq Jamil was born on 1 October 1953 in Mian Channu, Pakistan. He completed primary education from Central Model School, Lahore. Jamil is an alumnus of Government College University.
He received his Islamic education from Jamia Arabia, Raiwind, where he studied Qur’an, Hadith, Sufism, logic, and Islamic jurisprudence.
In 2019, the religious scholar stood 40th of a list ranking the world’s most “influential” Muslims.
