Another major fraud of whopping Rs. 80 billion by the ‘Lasani Oil Trader Limited came before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to the details, a delegation of victims of alleged fraud of Rs 80 billion called on Chairman NAB retired Justice Javed Iqbal and informed him about the details of the alleged fraud.

Chairman NAB issued a notice of Rs 80 billion fraud to Lasani traders and ordered DG NAB Lahore to investigate the return of funds collected from 46,000 victims.

Victims of the alleged fraud urged Chairman NAB to take action against those responsible.

Chairman NAB said that no matter how influential and powerful the accused are, they cannot be above the law adding that all resources will be utilized to bring the Lasani Oil Traders Limited and New Lasani Chicks and Chicken Limited scandal to a logical conclusion.

Retired Justice Javed Iqbal also directed to set up a special cell in NAB Lahore to prob the scandal.

Note that the company, Lasani Oil Traders Limited and New Lasani Chicks and Chicken Limited was spotted involved in illegal and questionable business activities.

The company have been attracting the general public to invest in diesel and chickens by offering substantial unrealistic profits and returns, that too without being licensed.
