Imran Khan’s court appearance: PTI workers arrested for violating Section 144

• PTI workers arrested by Police during Imran Khan’s appearance in court
• Internet service has been halted, strict security measures
• Section 144 has been imposed in the city

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers – who came to welcome Imran Khan on the occasion of his court appearance – are being arrested from G-11 for violating Section 144.

Not only this, owing to security concerns, internet service has been halted in sector G-11 and strict security measures have been made at court orders.

Section 144 has been imposed in the city as former prime minister Imran Khan is to appear in court in the Toshakhana case.

Apart from this, a prisoner van has been delivered to G-11 Chowk.

All the roads around the judicial complex were sealed and a heavy police force was deployed and the roads were blocked by placing containers.

On the other hand, the police started an operation in Zaman Park and PTI workers restored to resist the police’s actions.

The police conducting an operation at Zaman Park have been arresting the PTI workers.

The PTI workers have been chanting slogans in favour of Imran Khan.
