LAHORE: The caretaker Punjab government has decided to allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for holding a rally on March 22.
Sources privy to the matter said that the caretaker government has decided to allow Imran Khan for holding a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan on Wednesday (March 22).
However, the permission will be granted on condition that PTI will not be allowed to do any kind of vandalism across the city during the rally and if there is a siege, retaliatory action will take place in Zaman Park.
It was also said that owing to the violence on Police by PTI, it is being considered not to provide security to the rally meanwhile Imran Khan will get security as a former prime minister.
It should be noted that former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan has announced to hold a rally on Minar-e-Pakistan on Wednesday.
A petition was also submitted in this regard maintaining that holding a public gathering is a constitutional right and imposition of 144 in the province repeatedly is a violation of the law.
