The Punjab government has introduced revised school timings for both private and government schools during the summer season, in response to the escalating temperatures.
According to the latest directive from the provincial education department, school sessions will begin at 7:45 am and conclude at 1:15 pm, except on Fridays, when classes will end at 11:45 am.
For schools operating on a double-shift basis, classes will be held from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm for the first shift, and from 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm for the second shift, throughout the region.

Previously, Punjab and other regions would adjust school hours based on weather conditions and student safety considerations. The recent change in school timing was implemented for the winter season and remained in effect until April 15.
