Pakistan Government Spokesperson Raja Ansari announced a significant development regarding the distribution of free laptops to students in Karachi.
According to the details, Raja Ansari said that the Prime Minister will launch a major project in Karachi this December, where laptops will also be distributed to students at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.
He said the federal government is determined to provide facilities to the people of Karachi and plans to complete development projects in partnership with the Sindh government.
Raja Ansari revealed that the federal government will start 22 major projects in Karachi, with a total cost of 334 billion rupees.
While speaking about Karachi, he also praised Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, calling him a good person. He added that even though there is no strong representation in Sindh, the federal government is still pushing ahead with projects for the city’s progress.
He stressed that the federal government wants to work together with the Sindh government and Karachi’s Mayor. According to him, this effort is not about point-scoring or criticism, as Jamaat-e-Islami does, but about real cooperation.
