The Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh has introduced a new service for overseas Pakistanis from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, allowing them to renew their driving licenses conveniently.

Announced on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, the embassy clarified that this service is specifically for those who hold driving licenses issued in KP.

To avail of this facility, eligible individuals can visit the embassy and submit the required documents:

  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of CNIC
  • Expired driving license (not exceeding three years)
  • One recent colored passport-size photograph
  • Copy of Iqama
  • The applicant’s email or contact number
  • The latest medical certificate attested by a registered medical practitioner and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The embassy will process these documents and forward them electronically to the KPK Traffic Police. After verifying the records, the police will renew the driving license and hand it over to the applicant’s nominee upon payment of government dues.

Additionally, the embassy noted that fees for attesting these documents will be charged accordingly.

This initiative aims to simplify the process of license renewal for overseas Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia, ensuring they remain compliant with local regulations and continue to drive legally.
