Pakistan has won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test against Australia at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, commonly known as the Gabba on Thursday.

Seamer Naseem Shah, 16, is making his first debut against Australia. Naseem Shah in his first cap has made him one of the youngest players in Test history.

Shah, who decided to remain on tour after his mother died last week, made the team after impressing with an eight-over spell against Australia A in a lead-up game in Perth.
