‘We couldn’t execute our plans’

Test Team Captain Azhar Ali while addressing media Lahore has said, “We couldn’t execute our plans.”

He said that “Our bowlers were new and unfortunately couldn’t perform up to the mark but Shaheen/Naseem bowled well.”

“We’ll try not to repeat mistakes against Sri Lanka. I know I have to score runs. Test series will be played in Pakistan after ten years for which players are excited.”

Let it be known that Pakistan had a terrible tour of Australia as they failed to win a single game in the T20I and Test series.

Former Australia skipper Ian Chappell said in his statement that Pakistani team is probably the not up to the mark.

“There were a few people in Pakistan who jumped up and down when I said after the last tour that Australia should stop inviting them, if that’s what it takes to get them to wake up to themselves”
