After Sarfaraz Nawaz, Now Former Pakistani Cricketer Ata-ur-Rehman has made shocking claims related to corruption in national cricket.

While talking exclusively to Bol News, Ata-ur-Rehman heavily criticized former Captain Wasim Akram. He confirmed the accusation of former Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Khalid Mehmood that Wasim Akram did match fixing in 90s. Mehmood said earlier Wasim Akram had offered money to Attaur Rehman to bowl poorly.

Ata-ur-Rehman termed Wasim Akram as the reason for downfall of his cricket career. Ata-ur-Rehman  said media should question Wasim Akram. I will not remain silent until Wasim Akram tells the world himself. He challenged to put him and Wasim Akram face to face, everything will be clear.  Atta ur Rahman said Wasim Akram was made part of Pakistan Super League to make money.

Earlier, Former Pakistan Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz revealed that 1999 World Cup Matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh, and final Pakistan vs Australia were fixed.

While talking to Bol News, Sarfaraz Nawaz revealed that before the match he went in to the stadium and met Wasim Akram who was leading the team at that time. “Wasim Akram said that this match has to be won in any case as rumors about match fixing were circulating. Wasim Akram said that we will win this match. I also told Shoaib Akhtar to take at least 5 to 6 wickets. ”

Pakistan lost the match. Later, Justice Qayyum formed a commission. Former Pakistan Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz said many players including him appeared before the commission. “The incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan also appeared before the commission.

Currently, Umar Akmal is also facing a three-year-long ban from all formats of cricket after being guilty of corruption.
