‘I respect Younis and Pakistan’, says Grant Flower

Former Pakistan cricket team’s batting coach Grant Flower has apologized to present batting coach for England Tour, Younis Khan on his statement.

Flower had recently claimed that once former cricketer Younis Khan had once put a knife on his throat after getting batting advice from him.

Flower said,

“Didn’t know that the question asked in the interview would be lifted so much. I respect Younis and Pakistan.” 

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan cricket team’s head coach Mickey Arthur had also confirmed the moment between Flower and Khan that happened in Brisbane in the year 2016.

Grant Flower worked as a Pakistan cricket team’s batting coach from 2014-19. He is currently designated as Sri Lanka’s team batting coach.
