As the month of Shaban-al-Moazzam begins today (Tuesday), Cricketer Babar Azam has extended heartfelt greetings to all Muslims.
Taking to his Instagram, Babar Azam wishes everyone a very blessed month of Shaban and also seeks mercy and blessings in the upcoming month of Ramadan.
“Shaban Mubarak to everyone out there. May this month help us prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan by practising mercy and kindness. It is all about doing good to others, whether Muslim or non-Muslim and demands nothing in return,” he wrote.

Earlier, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has informed that Shab-e-Barat in Pakistan would be observed on Monday, March 29.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee had met for the sighting of the moon of Shaban, 1442 AH.
Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, chairman of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee presided over the meeting.
The Meteorological Department (PMD) had earlier stated that there is a major uncertainty of sighting the new Shaban moon on the evening of March 14.
