Pakistan will play their second match of the World Cup on November 27 against Egypt, whereas they will face Argentina on November 28.

Earlier, Pakistan defeated Chile and Canada by 3-0, 1-0, respectively, in the practice matches of Junior Hockey World Cup.

Ahead of their match against Germany, Pakistan captain Rana Waheed had said that the team gained immense confidence after winning both of the practice matches.

“We are off to a good start in the event but I know the main event is different from this. Our practice for the matches is strong and we believe in ourselves,” Waheed said in a statement released by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).

“Boys are confident now after winning two practice matches against good teams. We are looking forward to executing our plans against Germany in the first match,” he added.
