After winning the ODI series against Australia, skipper Babar Azam still rules the ICC Men’s ODI batting rankings while Imam-ul-Haq climbs a significant number of positions, from 11th to 3rd spot.
Proteas skipper Dean Elgar has moved up three spots to number thirteen in the ICC Men’s Test Player rankings after smashing two half-centuries in the first Test against Bangladesh.
Young Bangladeshi Mahmudul Hasan Joy became the only player from his country to have scored a Test century against South Africa. This is his maiden century in just three matches. This has helped him climb 37 spots to number 66 in Test rankings.

On the other hand, there have been no significant changes in the top 10 batters’ rankings. Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne is still at the top followed by his teammate Steve Smith and Kiwis skipper Kane Williamson.
In the bowling category, Australia’s Pat Cummins still stands atop followed by India’s Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah.
Pakistani sensational bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has moved one spot up in the ICC Test Bowling rankings to number 5.
South African spinner Keshav Maharaj moved two spots up to number 28 after his stellar performance in the Test against Bangladesh with figures of 7/32.

Bangladesh’s Mehdi Hasan also moved four spots to join England’s Chris Woakes at number 31.
There is no change in the all-rounders’ chart. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja remains at the top followed by Ashwin and Jason Holder.
Babar’s back-to-back centuries against Australia allowed him to remain at the top of the chart. He scored a total of 276 runs at an average of 138. He was also named player of the series.
Left-hand batter Imam-ul-Haq has moved the most in rankings. With his top form against Australia, he has moved eight spots to number 3. He was the highest run-scorer in the ODI series against Australia, scoring 298 runs at an average of 149.

On the other hand, the Kangaroos’ skipper Aaron Finch has slipped three spots to number 10. Travis Head moved five spots to number 34.
Kiwis batter Tom Latham moved five spots up to number 25 after his blistering 140-run unbeaten knock against the Netherlands.

Ross Taylor played the last ODI match of his career against the Dutch team but slipped three spots to number six.
In the bowling category, Shaheen entered the top ten after a stellar performance against the Aussies. He moved eight spots to number 7.
Leg-spinner Adam Zampa, after the ODI series against the Green Shirts, has slipped out of the top ten to number 14.
Netherlands’ pacer Fred Klaassen moved 23 spots to number 55 after taking some crucial wickets against the Kiwis. Meanwhile, New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi also climbed five spots to number 37.
There is no major change in the all-rounders’ chart. There is only one change where Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner swapping positions within the top 10. Grandhomme moved up one rank to number 6.
