Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 concluded Sunday night with the Gujrat Titans winning their inaugural title in their first tournament.

The final of the 2022 edition, which was played in Ahmadabad, surpassed all the records for the most number of spectators in the stadium.

Around 104,859 people watched the final in the stadium, the Indian media said.

The last time the most number of spectators was counted was during the World Cup 1992, where Pakistan defeated England in the final at the MCG, Australia.

The Titans won their first IPL title after defeating Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets under the captaincy of all0-rounder Hardik Pandya.
