Real Madrid’s successful league campaign came to an end with a draw against Real Betis in their final match before meeting Liverpool in the Champions League final.
For the match between La Liga champions and the Copa del Rey winners, Carlo Ancelotti chose his strongest XI.
Karim Benzema came close to scoring twice but was unable to add to his league-leading 27 goals.
The game did not feature Gareth Bale, who is likely to leave Real Madrid.
Last month, Ancelotti’s team won the title with four games to spare, but they were unable to finish the domestic season on a high note.
During the 90 minutes, they only had three shots on goal, while Betis came near, when replacement Joaquin, 40, fired barely over in his 600th La Liga appearance.
Real Madrid now has a whole week to prepare for the Champions League final on May 28 in Paris, where they finished the league season with 86 points from 38 games.
Real Betis are in fifth place with 65 points, but Real Sociedad can catch up if they beat Atletico Madrid at home on Sunday.
