Pakistani wrestler Ali Asad won a bronze medal for Pakistan in the Commonwealth Games 2022 for the country.

Ali won the bronze medal in the 57 kg wrestling events by defeating Suraj Singh of New Zealand in just 55 seconds in the bronze medal bout.

Pakistan’s total medal tally at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games now stands at six, including one gold medal.

In the final of the same category, India’s Ravi won the gold medal by defeating the Nigerian athlete.
