The Pakistan cricket selection committee has asked three young players to share a dressing room with the Pakistan Test squad during the second Test against New Zealand in Karachi. This is so that the young players can see how top-level cricket is played and learn how the dressing room works.

Sources say that Haseebullah, Saim Ayub, and Ihsanullah, three batters, and Ihsanullah, a fast bowler, will be in the dressing room with the players during the second Test.

In the first Test, Basit Ali, Arafat Minhas, and M Zeeshan were asked to share the dressing room so they could get more experience.

Haseeb and Saim have scored the most runs in the current Pakistan Cup. Haseeb of Balochistan has gotten 504 runs in 10 innings, averaging 50.40, while Saim of Sindh has gotten 461 runs in the same number of innings. Ihsanullah is a fast bowler for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is 20 years old and has taken 24 wickets in 10 games.

The three of them have also done well in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Saim has scored 516 runs, and Haseeb has scored 416 runs. This season, Ihsanullah played 7 first-class games and took 22 wickets.

Shahid Afridi, who is the interim chief selector, said that this is being done so that young people can get a feel for what it’s like to be in the dressing room and learn about game strategy.

Afridi said, “It’s important for young players to hang out with top players and watch how they play.”

The selection committee thinks it’s important for young players to keep up with longer games, since most young players only care about T20.

A member of the selection committee said that Afridi and his team want this to be done so that players can get a feel for what Test cricket is all about.
