Cristiano Ronaldo may rejoin with former Real Madrid colleague Keylor Navas, as Al Nassr is said to be in discussions with the goalkeeper.
Manager Rudi Garcia is said to have requested a replacement since starting goalkeeper David Ospina has an elbow injury and would probably be absent for some time.
Ronaldo has been putting in a lot of effort to get ready for his first start for the Saudi Pro-League leaders, and he might get the chance to do so in a friendly matchup with Lionel Messi.

Navas, a Costa Rican international, may be Al-newest Nassr’s player, claims Marca. There were rumours that Eden Hazard was close to signing with the Saudi Pro-League.
Former Arsenal and Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina is believed to have fractured his elbow in the team’s most recent game, a 0-0 draw with Al-Shaddab on Saturday. He will be sidelined for at least six weeks.
David Ospina will undergo surgery tomorrow, Tuesday, in his elbow following an examination conducted by a specialized surgeon in Spain today.

The former Real Madrid goalkeeper will be in Saudi Arabia this week for PSG’s encounter against a Saudi All-Stars lineup that will most likely include the great Portuguese international.
Navas has fallen down the pecking order since Gianluigi Donnarumma joined PSG in 2021, and he has now been demoted to the post of cup keeper.
Earlier, the same magazine said that the Saudi Arabian club will not back down and will try to sign Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric.
