Karachi Kings have released their new anthem, “Ye Hai Karachi”.
The song captures the zeal and energy they bring to the PSL.
Imad, Amir, and other athletes also sang in the anthem video.
Karachi Kings have unveiled their new anthem prior of their season 8 debut against Peshawar Zalmi.
In preparation for their first game against Zalmi today in Karachi, the Kings have published a new anthem called “Ye Hai Karachi” with Asim Azhar, Ali Azmat, and Raamis Ali.
The song captures the zeal and energy Kings bring to the PSL, which is now a recognised brand throughout the world. Imad Wasim, the captain of the Kings, Mohammad Amir, Sharjeel Khan, and other athletes also sang in the anthem video.
Imad Wasim served as Kings’ captain as they won their first PSL championship in 2020. In that season, Babar Azam won Player of the Tournament.
Nine out of ten games that the Kings played in 2022 ended in losses under Babar’s captaincy. After the Kings’ performance in the previous season, the team made the decision to make a significant change. They returned the captaincy to Imad and swapped Babar for Shoaib Malik from Peshawar Zalmi.
Imad, who has taken over as captain once more, appeared assured to lead his squad from the front. Imad stated they have gotten past Babar’s departure and are looking forward to playing this season during a news conference on Monday in Karachi.
“As I already stated, Babar’s departure will have no effect on our team. Players come and go, but the squad is dedicated to its success “He stated.
“Babar’s profession has nothing to do with mine. It was the decision of our team’s owner. He handed him the captaincy last year, and he traded him this year. As a franchise member, our goal is to ensure that we win matches and nothing else “He went on to say.
