The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will unveil the trophy for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 tomorrow in Lahore.

The PCB said on Tuesday that the PSL 8 dazzling trophy would be unveiled tomorrow. For this year’s competition, a new trophy has reportedly been created.

When Ehsan Mani was the PCB chairman in 2020, a brand-new PSL trophy was created. Three seasons in a row saw the trophy in use. Until 2020, a new trophy would have been produced for each new season.

Season 8 of the PSL is quickly approaching, and everything is being done to produce another flawless season for the record of the league.

For the first time ever, the PSL opening ceremony will take place in Multan. On February 13, the Multan Cricket Stadium will host its major debut.

Sahir Ali Bagga and Aima Baig will perform at the opening ceremony alongside Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi, who will sing the PSL 8 official hymn, according to reports.

The PCB is committed to improving and expanding the PSL this year, under the direction of Najam Sethi. Sethi repeated that the PSL brand has to be updated in his press briefings after regaining control of the PCB.

The branding budget for PSL was upped by Sethi and his team from $100,000 to $1 million.
