PSL 2023: Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars Match 34 Preview | Prediction, Head-to-Head
Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will face off. PSL season 8 final...
Manager Sameen Rana of Lahore Qalandars credited their team’s success to their Player Development (PDP) program.
For their performance throughout the first six seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore’s management received a lot of criticism. Since Afridi retook the captaincy in 2022, Qalandars’ fortune has improved.
The final, which Qalandars won last year against the Multan Sultans, will take place on March 18 with Sultans led by Mohammad Rizwan.
Sameen stated, “We received a lot of criticism at first, but we believed in our process and the results are before you.”
“People were critical of our PDP and criticized us for introducing it. However, our real success lies in our PDP products,” he added.
Sameen stated that they have always recognized Shaheen’s potential as a leader when discussing his captaincy.
The co-owner of the team shared, “We kept an eye on Shaheen from the very beginning as we saw leadership qualities in him.” “Shaheen is to be commended for making our team the most balanced team in the tournament,” he maintained.
Since his team is one step away from becoming the first team in PSL history to win the championship, Sameen is hoping for a victory in the final. The Multan side is tough. This season, we have defeated them twice to win. We will definitely win it if we play to our strengths,” he said in the end.
