Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, has shared his unforgettable experience from the physical camp conducted in Kakul.

A total of twenty-nine cricketers participated in the pre-season camp at the renowned Military Academy from March 26 to April 6. The training and drills were planned and executed by experts and strategists from the Pakistan Army.

The camp emphasized team building, aiming to boost the physical and mental resilience of the players, ensuring they are well-prepared for future challenges.

Babar described the camp as extremely fruitful, stating that it not only prepared the players for the upcoming strenuous cricket season but also fostered unity and comprehension among the team through strategically planned team bonding exercises and drills.

“The physical training camp will benefit us a lot in international cricket. The main objective of this camp was unity in the team and a lot of work was done on it,” Babar said.

“This time, our focus extended beyond physical fitness to encompass team bonding activities and performance-improving lectures. These elements are crucial considering our team environment where collective performance is paramount for achieving desired results.
