Latest leaks suggest Samsung Galaxy Watch 7’s imminent release

The excitement around the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is growing, especially after a recent leak suggesting its launch is near. The Bluetooth SIG database has listed a new Samsung wearable with the code SM-L305U, likely the Galaxy Watch 7 version. This listing is a big clue because all Bluetooth devices must be listed before release. The certification document shows it has Bluetooth 5.3 with LE, similar to the Galaxy Watch 6.

Although this certification doesn’t reveal much about the watch’s features, it strongly hints at its upcoming launch. Like previous models, we expect the Galaxy Watch 7 to be announced in July and available in stores by August 2024.

There are speculations about improvements in battery life, a possible square display redesign, and talks of Samsung hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event in July to unveil not just the Galaxy Watch 7 but also the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the new Samsung Galaxy Ring. Additionally, there’s mention of a significant processor upgrade for better speed and performance, along with sleep apnea detection for US users.
