An Indian flight from Ahmedabad to London encountered a suspected bomb threat on Thursday, leading to prompt intervention by air traffic controllers in India and Pakistan, according to reports.
Upon receiving the bomb alert, India’s air traffic control contacted Pakistan’s Karachi air traffic control for assistance in managing the situation.
Pakistan’s air traffic controllers responded quickly, working closely with their Indian counterparts through direct communication.
Sources indicate that the Pakistani air traffic controllers successfully guided the Indian aircraft through Pakistani airspace.
The plane then continued its journey into Afghan airspace after leaving Pakistan.
