Minister goes off-script while solo performance at a wedding goes viral

A US couple’s wedding minister went off the script during the wedding as he began singing.

The awkward hilarious moment was captured in a video and got viral in less time.

Olivia Mancuso posted the video on a video-sharing app TikTok. She wrote the caption, “So I and my husband’s minister went off-script during our ceremony and this is what happened”. 

The minister was giving a solo performance and it shocked the couple. 

The couple tried to control their laugh, but their facial expressions were hilarious. 

The video went viral and got more than 1.5 million views. Olivia Mancuso, with her husband, posted a follow-up video to answers the comments viewers gave. 

“The question we got the most was how we did not laugh,” Mancuso revealed. “Honestly it was a pure shock – we had no idea it was going to happen.” 

“The second question was ‘did we pay her’, yes we did, we paid her $450 before the ceremony.”

“Plus parking,” her husband cut in.

“Yeah, plus parking,” Mancuso replied. 

“All of our guests came up to us after the ceremony and they were like ‘how about that singing’ and ‘what was that?'”

“We literally can’t be serious about anything so we were mad for a second but honestly it’s hilarious… it got us to go viral on TikTok.”

The couple also clarified that the minister had retired after the wedding. 

Several people commented on the video.

“This happened to my cousin. It was a Justice of the Peace who sang ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’,’ one person revealed. 

“How did you keep a straight face? I would have been crying,” wrote another.

“Is this an episode of The Office?” questioned another.
