Two decades later, the magic still lingers, proving that some pop-star alter egos never truly fade they simply grow up with us.

Now, Miley Cyrus is returning to celebrate the legacy that launched her into global stardom. The “Flowers” singer is set to appear in the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, premiering on Disney+ on March 24, 2026.

The commemorative program, announced on February 17 through an official Disney+ press release and a teaser shared by Cyrus on X, was filmed before a live audience. It features an in-depth conversation between Cyrus and podcaster Alex Cooper.

The special will also include previously unreleased archival footage, carefully reconstructed sets from the original series including the Stewart family home and Hannah’s iconic wardrobe along with familiar songs that defined an era.

Originally premiering on March 24, 2006, Hannah Montana ran for four seasons and followed teenager Miley Stewart, who secretly lived a double life as pop superstar Hannah Montana.

The Emmy-nominated series became a global success, spawning platinum-selling albums and a 2009 feature film adaptation.
