Taylor Swift turned heads in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 10, as she arrived for a taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and later switched into a bold velvet look for her on-air appearance.

The 35-year-old pop superstar, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, opted for a striking burgundy David Koma minidress for the interview.

The off-the-shoulder, $1,695 velvet design was paired with a sparkling necklace and matching velvet pointed-toe heels, giving the singer a sleek, glamorous finish on the late-night stage.

Her television look contrasted sharply with the classic, neutral-toned outfit she wore earlier in the day while entering the Ed Sullivan Theater. Swift arrived in Max Mara’s $2,583 Olga coat layered over a $1,890 Miu Miu plaid skirt, completing the ensemble with Christian Louboutin’s $2,195 Jane boots and $8,500 pear-shaped diamond drop earrings from Etiq.

Swift’s appearance comes as anticipation builds for her Disney+ project The End of an Era, which debuts its first two episodes on Friday, Dec. 12, alongside her new concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show. The six-part series, released two episodes per week, explores the creation, cultural impact, and behind-the-scenes efforts that powered her record-breaking stadium tour.

The singer celebrated the upcoming premiere on Tuesday, Dec. 9, attending a special screening of the first two episodes in New York City with her dancers, backup vocalists, and band members. Later that evening, Swift was spotted entering the private members’ club Chez Marguax with friend Este Haim.
