ISLAMABAD:  Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)  has arrested the accused who made the objectionable video of a young girl viral on social media.

The spokesperson of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said that the accused involved in viralizing objectionable videos of a young girl on social media is also proclaimed offender.

According to the spokesman, last year the accused had made objectionable pictures of a young girl viral on social media, the accused had also created a fake Facebook account in the name of the victim girl.

The spokesperson further said that the accused also shared the objectionable material with the brother of the victim girl after which his arrest took place.

Earlier, federal government has decided to appoint Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and intelligence officers in electricity distribution companies.

The Prime Minister has issued instructions to appoint FIA and Intelligence officers to the Power Division.

It has been directed to appoint permanent Deputy Director FIA in electricity distribution companies while it has been decided to remove directors appointed on political grounds in the board of electricity companies.
