The World Health Organization (WHO) has strongly recommended a 20-second hand wash to prevent the coronavirus and new update of Apple watch will be helpful from now on.

Tech giant Apple yesterday introduced the App Watch Operating System (OS) 7 at the World Wide Developers Conference, which added some new features.

The new features of the Apple Watch OS 7 include an automatic handwashing detection feature due to the global pandemic of Coronavirus, which will ensure a 20-second hand wash.

This means that whenever the user washes their hands, the Apple Watch will start a 20-second period with the help of the said feature and after completing 20 seconds, it will indicate that the hand-washing period has been completed.

Regarding this feature, Apple says that it will help people to wash their hands more often, which will protect them to contract the virus.

This feature will also maintain a handwriting record in the Apple Health app with clear frequency and duration.

In addition, the Apple Watch OS 7 includes a sleeping track and a dancing feature for workouts.

Earlier, Apple has also found a solution that will maintain social distance with friends and also take selfies.

Apple has granted a patent for software that allows it to artificially create group selfies or selfies with a close friend.

Through this software, the user will be able to edit any selfie, not only instant photos can be added to selfies, but also photos that are already in the gallery can be edited.

What’s special is that only the actual user will be able to change the group selfie, such as changing the position of another selfie or their own selfie.

However, the company has not yet given a final date on how long the software will be included in iPhones, laptops and iPads.

Apple is also working on introducing a new Face ID feature that will allow users to unlock their iPhone without removing the face mask.

This feature is currently available in the beta version of iOS 13.5.

The iPhone will be able to identify the user despite the face mask, through a pass-code the entry screen will appear when swiping up at the bottom of the screen, after which the device will not search the user’s face.

The iPhone cannot be unlocked without removing the mask, but the passcode unlock option will replace it.

Most beta versions have a number of features that are not part of the final version, but this new feature will definitely be introduced because the coronavirus pandemic is likely to continue for several months.
