The boxing lineal Champion of the world, the Gypsy king, Tyson Fury looks forward to unifying all of his heavy weight titles with what may only be called the mega fight of the year, against fellow Brit heavy weight champ Anthony ‘AJ’ Joshua.

The current lineal and WBC champ had been ordered to make a mandatory defense against a mandatory WBC challenger Dillian Whyte after and if the Wilder Fury trilogy came to an end in his favor.

After Fury defeated Deontay Wilder in their second bout to gain the WBC championship, the one belt missing form his collection, a rematch clause came into the spotlight. Dillian Whyte was to face the victor of the third bout.

Dilian however lost his match against Alexander Povetkin which came as a shock, thus losing his status as the mandatory challenge. This has left the gates wide open for the winner of Wilder Fury 3 to face the man who holds the rest of the belts, Anthony Joshua.

Although the third bout between Wilder and Fury, which was scheduled for July this year and got postponed, is expected in early 2021, Fury showed frustration on social media as Wilder’s team seemed to be inactive about the third fight.

Fury stated “Where you at mush? The clock is ticking!! I’m not gonna wait forever!!! There [are] other bums in the division that I want to eat for breakfast,” highlighting an interest to move directly to the AJ fight.

As the clock ticks for Deontay’s corner. Boxing fans across the world are becoming more impatient to see the historic trilogy come to an end and to see who gets the undisputed crown, worn by the likes of Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Sullivan and the few who’s names are etched in history.
