Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s fact-finding committee will submit their report tomorrow on the Covid-19 outbreak reported in the bio-secure bubble of Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition six.
According to the reports, PCB has confirmed the progress in a statement released on Wednesday afternoon. The league was postponed due to the several played have tested positive for covid-19.
Due to this incident, PCB made a two-member fact-finding committee which will investigate the matter, the name of the committee members are Faisal Mehmood and Salma Mohammad Abbas.
The panel has to submit their report on March 31 but the process of investigation delayed two days due to some reasons the report will now be submitted to the PCB chairman Ehsan Mani by the end of this week.
Also, the remaining matches of the PSL sixth edition are expected to be held from May 23 till June 20.
As per sources, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in an official statement that, the setting up of a biosecure bubble of United Kingdom (UK) based company in the final stages
PCB is expected to announce the schedule of the remaining matches in the next few days.
PSL is postponed due to the coronavirus because seven players in the league tested positive.
Sources also added that the days reserved for the tournament will include the compulsory quarantine period for the players.
